Separation of Corporation and State :
A 28th Amendment to the Constitution ?
Dr. Riki Ott is launching the movement for the 28th Amendment to the Constitution: Separation of Corporation and State. In the video above, she explains what a 28th Amendment will accomplish, how it is possible, why it is necessary for our democracy.
In Riki’s own words:
In my book, Not One Drop, I answer the question I frequently heard on the streets in Cordova. (It’s a small town where people often visit in groups on Main Street or at the post office.) How did corporations get so big where they could manipulate our legal system?

Here is Cara Campbell , chair of the Ecology Party
introducing Ralph Nader on his visit to Tampa, Florida
just prior to the 2008 election .
The ' U.I.C. ' wells , or Underground Injection Control
wells that Ms. Campbell mentioned are not just a problem
in Florida , but nationwide .
The U.I.C. system not only injects treated wastewater
into underground storage ( pipes and wells ) ; but also
all manner of waste material , hazardous and otherwise ,
so the probability for problems is obvious .
Deep Injection wells , the G.A.O. , and the E.P.A.
One conclusion that the E.P.A. reached in this report is that ( Quote )
" EPA did not agree with GAO’s recommendations and stated that (1) public involvement
is limited by program regulations and (2) financial assurance requirements are not deficient.
GAO maintains the recommendations are sound."
By " public involvement being limited by program regulations " ,
means that the public is not allowed to have a say on the
construction of these deep injection wells until
the process is well under way , when it is nearly
impossible to get any such construction projects
stopped .
